How To Clear Inariyama Garrison In Assassin's Creed Shadows

While most locations guarded by Samurai Daisho in Assassin's Creed Shadows are castles, the Inariyama Garrison offers a unique compound to earn some legendary loot. This location is one of the shortest areas in the game, so it's well worth checking out once you've unlocked access to this area's legendary rewards.

PostsIf you've been plundering each castle with us in Assassin's Creed Shadows, this should be one of the last areas on your list. We'll take you through yet another stealth infiltration with Naoe, as cutting through this area with Yasuke can be tedious, albeit much easier if you enjoy slashing every enemy that opposes you.
Where Is Inariyama Garrison?
CloseYou'll find the Inariyama Garrison in the northern section of Harima, between Engyoji and Mount Kasagata.
The closest fast travel point is the Kitano Village Kakurega to the southeast of the Garrison.
This area becomes lootable like a regular castle after you complete Genzaburo's Soldiers assassination quest.
How To Find & Assassinate The First Samurai Daisho
CloseApproach the Garrison from the south, following the path until you reach the main wooden door. Look to the left of the door, and you'll spot a bunch of scaffolding you can climb to scale the wall into the Garrison.
Ascend to the top of the guard tower in the southeastern courtyard of the Inariyama Garrison and survey the scene.
There are no Samurai Daisho in this first southern courtyard, so you can skip it and move across the wooden bridges further north to the next area.
Head toward the bridges, then circle around the outside of the fort to the left, until you can climb back into the walls of the Garrison.
Once you climb back into the central courtyard, assassinate the first guard you see in the corner of the courtyard.
After you deal with this guard, go to the top of the shed next to his body and look further northwest, where you'll spot the first Samurai Daisho.
This first Daisho is on the other side of a wall, so climb the roof of the house in front of you, so you can overlook his patrol route.
This Daisho is fairly isolated, so wait for him to walk over to the well, then turn around.
At this point, you can safely assassinate your target, then clear out the other guard in this area without issue.
How To Find & Assassinate The Second Samurai Daisho
CloseFrom the central courtyard, go further northwest up the stairs, then bear to the left into the northwestern courtyard where you'll find the second Samurai Daisho.
This area is packed with guards, so you'll have to be careful to avoid detection.
Start by going to the guard tower in the northern section of the courtyard.
The Daisho's house is well guarded from the front, so sneak around the side and up the stairs using the lower area, taking out the one guard along the way.
When you reach the house, enter using the door along the roof and descend onto the floor where the second Samurai Daisho is, and assassinate him.
What Rewards Do You Get From Inariyama Garrison?
With the second Samurai Daisho defeated, you're free to roam Inariyama Garrison and finish cleaning up the rest of the loot in the area.
Side Loot
CloseHere is a list of the major loot you'll find during your journey through Inariyama Garrison.
- Key: In the northern section of the northwestern courtyard in the guard tower across from the second Daisho, you'll find a key on a ledge of the tower.

- In the central courtyard of the castle's second level, you'll find a small open shed next to where you assassinate the guard on the way to the first Daisho.
- In the central courtyard near where you killed the first Daisho, you'll find a chest and some resources in a building.
- In the western section of the northern courtyard, where you killed the second Daisho, you'll find a shed with two resource piles to smuggle and a chest.

Synchronization Viewpoint
In the southern corner of the northernmost courtyard, climb the guard tower to acquire a synchronization viewpoint and a fast travel point.
