One such intriguing character is S'drassa. At first glance, his appearance stands out, and once you speak to him, he draws you in with a request to help him collect magical tears. However, the clues he provides are scarce, and you’ll need to dig deeper to uncover the information needed to assist him in his unusual quest.

How To Start Tears Of The Savior Quest

After you reach Leyawiin, which is south of the map, head to the Mages Guild there, located at the west, and find S'drassa, who will be wearing a black robe.

Interact with him and pick the Garridan's Tears topic in order to start the Tears of the Savior quest. During the conversation with him, you will learn that these tears are magical items, and he wants your help in obtaining them.

However, in order to gather more information, you need to seek the help of another fellow mage called Julienne Fanis. She can be located at the Arcane University in the Imperial City.

Where To Find Garridan's Tears

After you locate Julienne and speak to her about the Garridan's Tears, she will suggest that you buy a book called the Knightfall, which can be purchased from the First Edition bookshop in the Market District. Make your way there and buy it.

After you purchase the book, open your inventory and locate it, then read it. This will update the quest, and you will now need to get a special item to access Frostfire Glade, the area where the tears are located.

Simply make your way back to Julienne, and you should buy some Refined Frost Saltsfrom her before heading to Frostfire Glade.

While not mandatory, it is advisable that you get some potions, spells, or even a ring that will increase your resistance to Frost before traveling to Frostfire Glade, as the area will be freezing.

Additionally, do not bring a Frost weapon or any Frost spell; instead, you might want some Fire-related items to help you.

How To Defeat The Frostfire Atronach Glade Guardian

Now that everything is prepared, make your way to the Frostfire Glade, which is just north of the Imperial City. Enter the cave and progress forward until you reach a unique-looking door.

Interact with it using the Refined Frost Salt you obtained earlier to access the Frostfire Glade.

In this new area, progress further into the frozen area, and you will encounter an Atronach enemy waiting for you, and you need to defeat it.

This is where fire spells and weapons come into play, as the Atronach is weak to fire and very resistant to Frost.

Use the environment to your advantage to avoid his attacks if needed, or use it to heal or apply a potion.

After you defeat the guardian, you need to locate Garridan's Tears. These can be hard to find, as they are little blue bottles scattered around.

There are five of them in total, just around the glacier, and here is a map location for each one.

How To Complete Tears Of The Savior Quest

With the five Garridan's Tears, make your way back to S'drassa at the Mage Guild and give him the tears.

He will be so happy that he added these to his collection and will reward you with some gold. That's all for your reward, and this marks the completion of the Tears of the Savior quest.
