Make sure a certain someone takes the wrong medicine in Oblivion Remastered's Bad Medicine quest.
PostsOne particularly strange encounter happens when you meet Tove the Unrestful. He’ll ask you how things are going with a task he’s given you - even though you’ve never met him before. His name is fitting, as he’s restless for a reason. The quest he offers, titled Work is Never Done, gives you a hint of the kind of task that lies ahead, and it’s sure to be a grind.
This quest is part of the Shivering Isles DLC.
How To Start Work Is Never Done Quest
CloseBefore you can start the Work is Never Done quest, you need to make your way to the Bliss city and then head to Tove the Unrestful, located southeast.
Inside, you should find Tove. Speak to him, and he will ask if you've brought the items he requested.
Clearly, you’ve never been here before, and since he's unrestful, he gets confused sometimes. This will trigger the beginning of the Work is Never Done quest.
How To Get Tongs And Calipers
CloseAfter you speak to him about what's happening, he will explain that he needs a bunch of Tongs and Calipers to complete his Skyboat from building.
Now, chances are you already have some Tongs and Calipers in your inventory since they can basically be found almost anywhere. But you will probably need more, as in total, you need 100 of them - not 100 of each.
For example, you can just collect 100 of Calipers and give them to him, or 50 from each, and so on. It still counts.
These can be found in multiple locations as random loot, specifically in crates or barrels, and so on. Thankfully, these items spawn, so you can just find a location in which you can loot a bunch of these, wait three days until the loot respawns, and then just collect them again. Rinse and repeat.
Some of the locations that will have a chance to spawn multiple tongs and/or calipers are:
Town
Location Name
Bliss
The Missing Pauldron
Common Treasures
Big Head's House Upstairs
Tove the Unrestful's House Upstairs
Crucible
Brithaur's House
Cutter's Weapons
Things Found
Sickly Bernice's Taphouse
Cyrodiil
Tidewater Cave
Redguard Valley Cave
Imperial City
Reedstand Cave
Keep in mind that Tongs and Calipers are not exclusive to the DLC,as they can also be found in Cyrodiil, and of course these are not the only locations available.
The best approach here is to continue with other quests, but make sure to check every barrel and crate you come across, as well as loot from enemies.
How To Complete Work Is Never Done Quest
Once you have the required number of Tongs and Calipers, or both, head back to Tove and speak to him. Select the Tongs and Calipers dialogue option to sell him all the items he needs.
This will complete the quest, and there are no rewards other than the gold you get from the items you sold him.
