Sleep is crucial in real life, right? It’s necessary for proper functioning, and some games even incorporate sleep mechanics, offering benefits to characters who rest. When you speak to this individual, he tells you he hasn’t slept in ages, as he’s convinced that if he does, the walls of his house will collapse, and he’ll die. It’s an odd, paranoid belief, but as the hero of the story, it’s your job to help him. He needs to find a place to sleep outside, and it’s up to you to figure out where he can get the rest he desperately needs.

This quest is part of the Shivering Isles DLC.

How To Start The Falling Awake Quest

The first thing you need to do is find a gentleman named Amiable Fanriene, who can be found around Bliss wearing a blue outfit. Simply roam around the area during the day, and you should spot him walking around.

Strangely, when you approach him and speak to him, he will ask for your help in finding a safe place outside to sleep. This will trigger the start of the Falling Awake quest.

How To Complete The Falling Awake Quest

This will prompt you to ask around, specifically beggars, for any safe places to sleep outside. You will have multiple markers on the map, but the one you want is Fimmion, who should be just around Bliss.

When you speak to him, he will agree to help, but only if you get him a Sweetroll.

Now, you may wonder where to find one, and the closest option is to steal it from Rendil Drarara's House kitchen area, just north of Bliss.

Be cautious, though, as she may report the crime since she usually hangs out in the kitchen area.

Once you have a sweetroll, head back to Fimmion and give it to him. In exchange, he will provide more information on how to secure the bed.

He will mention Uungor and give you Glass Grapes in the hope they will help you convince him to secure the bed.

After you successfully convince Uungor, with the Grapes making it easy, head back to Amiable Fanriene and inform him that you have arranged for Uungor to switch beds with you.

This will complete the quest, and as a reward, you will receive the Burst of Might scroll.
