6 Moon

Too Much Setup

Lune, though charismatic and appealing, finds herself at the bottom of our ranking. While she serves well in early to mid-game due to her healing abilities and synergistic burn attacks, particularly with Maelle, her effectiveness diminishes later on. As the game progresses, her more powerful attacks necessitate excessive setup time, and other team members offer superior healing options. Players may find it advantageous to substitute her as better characters become available.

5 Gustav

Good While It Lasts

Gustav ranks slightly higher but still encounters a similar issue as Lune. He is an excellent character requiring considerable setup to unleash high damage output, yet the Overcharge method tends to be more straightforward than Lune’s approach. Although he lacks the extensive array of status effects, Gustav compensates with a broad selection of attacks that allow him to tackle various combat scenarios effectively while he remains in your party.

4 Monoco

A Late Addition

Joining the team later on, Monoco is a colorful and versatile addition whose unique ability allows him to utilize various moves from the Gestral enemies you encounter. However, players might find him under-leveled upon acquisition, making him potentially less useful until he garners experience and skills. For those willing to invest time and effort into leveling him up, he can be a formidable asset, though some may be deterred by the initial grind required to make him competitive.

3 Maelle

Burn, Baby, Burn

Maelle makes a compelling case as a powerful character with impressive damage capabilities, primarily through her burn attacks. However, her strategy often hinges on these physical and burn tactics, falling short in situations where enemies resist fire. If her skill set had a broader range of elemental effects or support abilities, she could easily secure a top position. Nevertheless, her single-minded focus on burn attacks can pigeonhole her effectiveness in diverse combat scenarios.

2nd Verse

Gustav 2.0

Many might mistake Verso for merely a replication of Gustav, but he surpasses him significantly in combat proficiency. His unique perfection gimmick demands a bit of patience for setup, but when achieved, it provides a powerful advantage with S-Rank modifiers. Verso’s skills include Blitz for extra strikes, Radiant Slash for crowd control, and the devastating Steeled Strike that unleashes a barrage of 13 hits. Despite some limitations against light-type enemies, he is a strategic powerhouse with immense potential in party dynamics.

1 Schiele

Sciel The Deal

Sciel stands out as the true powerhouse of the team, and it wasn’t until late in the game that I fully recognized her potential. Introducing her into my lineup resulted in formidable high damage outputs, often exceeding 9, 999 with her devastating moves and unparalleled foretell gimmick. Sciel excels at breaking foes with fierce attacks while also showcasing support capabilities, making her a dual-threat in battle. Although her lack of multi-target abilities is a limitation, her offensive strength and versatility as a support character make her indispensable. Don’t overlook Sciel—add her to your team as soon as possible to harness her full potential.
