In a recent announcement by HoYoVerse, Castorice, a character introduced in the Amphoreus Trailblaze Mission storyline, is set to become a playable character following the 3.2 update. Fans are eagerly anticipating her arrival, especially with the unveiling of her splash art, which showcases her unique element and Path.

Castorice: A Quantum Damage Dealer

Players first encounter Castorice during a perilous section of the game, where she provides guidance from afar. This experience adds depth to her character, enhancing the player dynamic. As confirmed in the teaser, Castorice will be classified as a five-star unit, specializing in Quantum damage during combat. Notably, she belongs to the Remembrance character type, paralleling Aglaea and the recently introduced Trailblazer variant from the 3.0 update.

Upcoming Playable Characters

Anticipation builds for the next characters joining the Honkai: Star Rail roster: Mydei and Tribbie (Tribios).Initial teasers for these characters were revealed during the 3.0 Special Program, where they were also introduced alongside Castorice in the Trailblaze Mission. Players can expect to witness their combat abilities for the first time during the showcase scheduled for February 14, 2025, at 3:30 AM PT (6:30 AM ET).

Aglaea and the Amphoreus Lineup

The first playable character from the Amphoreus line was Aglaea, who debuted as a five-star Remembrance character. She will be available until February 25, 2025, marking a significant introduction. With Castorice set to join the roster as the fourth playable Amphoreus character, players have much to look forward to.

Platform Availability and Upcoming Releases

Honkai: Star Rail is currently accessible on PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The 3.1 Special Program will air on February 14, 2025, at 3:30 AM PT (6:30 AM ET).The anticipated release date for version 3.1 is February 26, 2025, although details on when version 3.2 will be launched remain undisclosed.
