Fior Mes Iverno serves as the primary hub for players exploring the Emerald Stair region in the game Avowed. Your adventure begins after visiting the Bone and Boar tavern, where you will encounter Lieutenant Fidelio. He is visibly distressed, reflecting on the disappearance of two rangers under his command. This sets the stage for the Missing Rangers quest, in which players must uncover the fate of these missing rangers.
Initiating the Missing Rangers Quest in Avowed
To commence the Missing Rangers quest, head to the Boar and Bones bar, located east of the Animancy Workshop in Fior. Here, you will find Lieutenant Fidelio, seated to your left, lamenting about his inability to fulfill his duties. Engaging him in conversation and offering your assistance will propel you into the Wildwoods area of Emerald Stair, where you’ll search for the missing rangers, Belenna and Adelarro.
Locating Belenna and Adelarro in the Quest
Depart from Fior Mes Iverno and follow the stream toward the west to locate the first missing ranger, Belenna. Unfortunately, she is suffering from a plague, transforming her into a mindless Dreamthrall. Despite her condition, Belenna manages to entrust you with a task to locate Adelarro before giving you her Badge.
Continue your journey upstream to find Adelarro. However, he, too, has succumbed to the Dreamthrall state. Players must confront Adelarro, along with other afflicted individuals nearby. It’s advisable to allow Adelarro to engage with your companions while you eliminate the smaller enemies first. Once the area is secure, you can focus on defeating Adelarro.
Upon overcoming him, don’t forget to loot his remains to obtain Adelarro’s Badge before you return to Fior Mes Iverno.
Returning to Lieutenant Fidelio
Once you’ve returned to Lieutenant Fidelio, present both badges, recount Belenna’s unfortunate condition, and he will express his remorse about their circumstances. He takes responsibility for Belenna and pledges to care for her. Before concluding your conversation, you’ll receive a well-deserved reward: the Ring of the Peerless Marksman, a unique accessory from Emerald Stair. Completing these tasks will finalize the Missing Rangers quest in Avowed.
