For those willing to put in the effort, the achievements are divided into four categories — Galacta’s Guide, Rivalry Rising, Heroic Journey, and Chronoverse Saga — with each delivering its own set of milestones and rewards. However, it is the secret achievements that are generating interest, asking players to explore the battlefield. One such challenge, A Hounding Conversation, involves players searching for a beloved animal who is Doctor Strange’s spectral companion. Here’s how to complete the achievement.

How to complete A Hounding Conversation achievement in Marvel Rivals

A Hounding Conversation achievement falls under the Chronoverse Saga achievements and is related to Marvel Rivals lore. In order to complete the achievement, you’ll need to talk with Bats The Ghost Dog when Eternal Night falls on New York.

Now since the entire season is based around the theme, it can be quite hard to find Bats in Central Park, Midtown, or other New York locations. However, there’s one map where you can easily find him, and that is Sanctum Sanctorum.

Launch the Doom Match game mode and once you’re there, find Bats and simply stand near him to engage in a conversation that will trigger automatically. Bats has different voice lines for each Rivals character and one of the most interesting ones is with Spider-Man where he tells the web-slinger that Jonah is wrong about Spidey being a menace.

Bats can be found on the massive staircase inside Sanctum Sanctorum. Just hop into a portal that leads to indoor rooms and navigate your way to the main hall.

Once you’re there, follow the main stairway and you’ll spot a dark blue translucent dog roaming around the staircase. That dog is Bats who is also Doctor Strange’s companion in the comics.
