Tomes represent unique challenges for Dead by Daylight players and offer rewards for completing and progressing through them. It also acts as the game’s Season, as well as influencing The Right – DBD’s Battle Pass track which gives additional free and paid rewards. The current Tome is the 20th so far, nicknamed Mythic, with level 1 challenges already underway.

Challenges and rewards in Tome 20 Mythic

Tome 20: Mythic started on July 16 with the unlocking of its level 1 challenges and rewards. These challenges need to be taken in a branching order, completing one to gain access to the next, up until you’ve done them all. After that, you’ll be able to progress into subsequent levels as they are released. Check the release schedule below:

Challenges in the Tome need to be completed by Killers or Survivors, and sometimes even as specific characters. They range from simple tasks, like hooking a number of survivors, to more extravagant demands as you progress.

Tome 20: Mythic was released alongside the Lara Croft half-chapter. The only currently available level, level 1, features 20 challenges. Remember that you have to select challenges as active to work on them – one for Survivors and one for Killers. Here’s everything you need to do to progress through level 1:

Completing all level 1 challenges will net a further reward in the Epilogue node. You’ll get the Snake Grip rare badge, as well as a further 10 Rift Fragments. After that, you can start working through the level 2 challenges once they open on July 30.
