These tombs need to be raided once more.

Going forward, you can switch outfits, no matter how nonsensical they may seem for the given environment, like a bathrobe in snowy Peru or a jacket and pants in warm Venice, Italy. Regardless of what you choose to wear, Lara always stuns. These are the best outfits in Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered.

We've ranked Lara's outfits based on aesthetic. You need to look good when you're exploring, obviously.

9 Classic 1

Lara has two classic looks: one in the first game and another in the second game. The only real difference between the two looks is the neckline. Lara’s Classic 1 is one of her most iconic looks. The simple fit consists of a light blue high-neck tank top paired with brown cuffed shorts, a belt with a massive buckle, holsters, combat boots, and her backpack.

It’s the only outfit she wears throughout the game, and its minimalism stands out. It’s not too often that you see a character wearing this color scheme, and it’s safe to say that Lara has made this look her own.

8 Training 1

Lara has three separate training outfits for each game, but the first is the most unique. In Tomb Raider 1, Lara runs around Croft Manor barefoot in a sports bra and sweatpants. It’s easily her most comfortable outfit.

She also wears a pair of sweatbands on her wrists, which is a practical choice considering the ledges she needs to grab. Though the Training 2 and Training 3 outfits are great, they feel much more tactical and less like something you’d wear while lounging around your home.

7 Robe

Lara’s bathrobe appears at the end of Tomb Raider 2. As she prepares for bed, the Fiamma Nera breaks into her home. This is one of three outfits in which she isn’t equipped with her belt, holsters, backpack, and dual pistols.

Instead, you run around her home with a shotgun, killing the intruders. The scene ends iconically with Lara breaking the fourth wall, addressing the player by asking, “Haven’t you seen enough?” while aiming her shotgun toward the camera. The robe is an iconic look for an iconic moment.

6 Wetsuit

Lara’s wetsuit appears in Tomb Raider 2 when exploring the Wreck of the Maria Doria. This is one of the many opportunities where you can put the harpoon to use. Unlike in the first Tomb Raider, you can now defend yourself against enemies while swimming, allowing you to kill divers and sharks.

The wetsuit originally bore the logo of the UK brand SOLA. It was the only outfit Lara wore in-game that promoted an existing company. Currently, the SOLA logo is replaced with generic waves, but it’s still a fun piece of trivia.

5 Bomber

Leave it to Lara to wear shorts in the freezing cold, but at least she’s wearing a jacket, right? In Tomb Raider 2, Lara pairs a bomber jacket with her regular outfit, Classic 2. Lara dons the jacket when boarding an airplane directly after the Wreck of the Maria Doria.

After she lands the plane, Lara runs along the Tibetan Foothills while large birds swoop down at her. She’ll eventually operate a snowmobile and cruise from place to place. The neutral colors mesh well with the snowy backdrop.

4 Pacific

Lara’s Pacific outfit consists of a white cropped tank paired with green shorts. Though the outfit resembles some of her other looks, it’s definitely a unique colorway for the adventurer.

One of Lara’s many journeys in Tomb Raider 3, the longest game in the trilogy, leads her to the South Pacific Islands. The tank and shorts are well-suited for the tropical landscape she's traversing.

3 Nevada

Tomb Raider 3's Nevada location is one of the most underrated settings in the Tomb Raider series. Lara pays a visit to the famed, top-secret government facility, Area 51, which is rumored to host aliens and other extraterrestrial artifacts.

Lara wears a black/gray tank and blue camouflage pants in Nevada's hot desert environment. This particular outfit resembles the Training 3 look that she wears in Tomb Raider 3’s Croft Manor, though the looks differ in color.

2 Catsuit

Lara’s black Catsuit can be seen during her trip to London in Tomb Raider 3. Under the cover of darkness, Lara sneaks into SL Incorporated, a beauty company run by villainess Sophia Leigh. After the two share clever and snarky remarks, Sophia Leigh starts one of the game’s boss battles.

The Catsuit makes perfect sense for running around in the dark and sneaking up on unsuspecting enemies. It’s easily one of her coolest looks and would’ve worked great during the cutscene in Tomb Raider 1 when she breaks into Natla Technologies.

1 Antarctica

In Tomb Raider 3, Lara travels to Antarctica. She upgrades her look from a bomber jacket and shorts to a parka and pants. The look is definitely the most practical for the snowy environments in the trilogy.

Lara wears a bright orange parka with fur trim around the neckline. She’s wearing her iconic blue tank top underneath. Her camo pants also return, but in a neutral white and gray colorway this time.
