Complete Guide to the Nightreign Executor Remembrance Quest in Elden Ring
The Nightfarers in Elden Ring: Nightreign embark on individual Remembrance quests that delve into their pasts through a series of vivid memories and flashbacks. These quests not only offer players a glimpse into the personalities and ambitions of each character, but they also involve key objectives aimed at taking down the Nightlord.
In this guide, we will focus on the enigmatic Executor and explore the specific events tied to their Remembrance quest. This quest is one of the shorter ones in Nightreign, primarily involving item collection, painting, and, unsurprisingly, combat.
Elden Ring: Nightreign Executor Remembrance Quest Walkthrough
The Executor’s Remembrance quest comprises two distinct events that require interaction with characters within the Hold and item collection in Limveld. Below are the steps you need to follow for both events!
Executor Remembrance Event #1
The first Remembrance event for the Executor becomes available in Chapter 2 of their Journal after you have completed a few runs as the Nightfarer. The Journal reveals insights about the Land of Reeds, a location familiar to fans of Shadow of the Erdtree, and notes that the Executor’s painting of the Erdtree remains unfinished.
Initiate the quest by speaking to the Guardian and selecting ‘Affirm’.| Image credit: Bandai Namco/VG247To start, head to the Guardian, whose location is marked by a yellow exclamation point on your map (located in the same room as the Journal).Respond with ‘Affirm’ to begin the quest.
Next, talk to the Priestess at the center of the Hold. After your conversation, a personal objective will unlock instructing you to “find flowers in Limveld.” These are vital quest objectives that you will complete during your Expedition in Limveld, and you can track them in the Journal.
Commence your Expedition, and once you arrive in Limveld, seek out a red-orange quest marker on your map. Heading directly towards this marker will lead you to a battle with a Stray Bloodhound Knight, who, while formidable, is manageable.
After defeating the Stray Bloodhound Knight, remember to collect the Blessed Flowers.| Image credit: Bandai Namco/VG247Once you defeat the knight, enjoy the Runes you gain and inspect the glowing legendary item in the area. Although it may not assist you immediately, you will acquire the Blessed Flowers, which is essential for progressing the Executor’s quest. Afterwards, complete your run as usual.
After returning to the Hold, engage with the Priestess once more and then check in with the Iron Menial in the garden, near where the Executor is usually found painting.
Hand over the Blessed Flowers to the Iron Menial and interact with the Executor’s painting. This will conclude the first Remembrance event.
Upon exiting, you will receive both the Executor’s Chalice and the Blessed Flowers Relic as rewards. A lovely touch is that the Iron Menial will have planted these flowers in the Hold’s garden!
Executor Remembrance Event #2
The second Remembrance event becomes available upon reaching Chapter 6 of the Executor’s Journal.
Depending on your progress and how many Expeditions you’ve completed as the Executor, Chapter 6 may unlock immediately. If it hasn’t, continue to participate in Expeditions and check the Journal after each one.
When the second Remembrance event is available, begin by speaking to the Priestess located in the center of the Hold. Respond to her with ‘Assent’ to receive a new objective: to find a Golden Sprout in Limveld.
Time for another Expedition! Look for a red-orange quest marker on your map, particularly in the Mountaintops area. You might see two markers; ensure to head to the lighter, northernmost one.

Defeat this formidable foe, then search for a glowing legendary item in the vicinity, which will be the Golden Sprout. With the item in hand, you can finish the Expedition as usual.

Strategies to Defeat the Executor’s Cry in Elden Ring: Nightreign
The conflict with the Executor’s Cry, a clone of the Executor, is arguably one of the most challenging solo battles within the Remembrance quests in Nightreign.
Utilizing the Executor’s abilities, especially their Character Skill, Cursed Blade, is crucial for overcoming this adversary. If you’re unfamiliar with parrying and countering attacks, it may require some practice, but mastering this can significantly enhance your gameplay experience. This battle serves as a fitting tutorial for utilizing the Executor’s skill set.
Employ the Cursed Blade to parry the attacks launched by the Executor’s Cry. Wait for the opportune moment, and when your blade is charged, counterattack effectively. Patience is key—avoid getting caught in lengthy attack combinations, and you’ll successfully navigate this Remembrance in time.
Upon vanquishing the Executor’s Cry, approach the golden light at the conclusion to find a Crucible Knight within a small shack. Speak with this NPC, then return to the Priestess in the Hold to conclude the Remembrance.
With that, you have successfully completed the Executor’s Remembrance quest. As a reward, you will receive the Executor’s Remembrance Outfit and the Golden Sprout Relic!
