Roblox’s Fisch has recently seen an exciting update that introduces new activities, including the Orca Migration event. This update brings forth the addition of two new Orca fish, classified as Exotic and Secret rarity, as well as new boats and bundles. Unlike other fish that are stationary, Orcas are known for their migratory patterns, providing players the opportunity to track and catch them effectively.
While fishing for Orcas, players may also encounter legendary, mythical, or secret rarity fish, such as the Long Pike and Moonfish. This comprehensive guide is designed to assist you in locating both the regular and Ancient Orcas within Fisch.
Locating Orcas in Fisch
To spot Orcas, you’ll need to participate in the Orca Migration Hunt, a timed event that lasts for 15 minutes. Unlike the Megalodon Hunt, where players are limited to one catch, this hunt allows you to capture up to five Orcas. The hunt follows a designated route indicated by blue arrows, guiding you as Orcas traverse from one oceanic point to another.
The Orca Migration Hunt occurs every hour. Ensure you position yourself towards the migration area, found on the southern side of the map, specifically behind Moosewood near The Arch. As you follow the blue route, keep an eye out for large Orcas leaping out of the water. The migration starts at The Arch, proceeds to Moosewood, continues to Terrapin Island, and ultimately concludes in open waters.
Catching Orcas in Fisch
To successfully catch an Orca during the migration, use a high-resilience rod with Shark Head bait. While Orcas do not spawn based on specific weather conditions or times, the following tips can enhance your chances of catching one:
- Activate your Fish Radar: This tool will highlight areas of water within the migration zone where you can cast your line.
- Stock up on Shark Head bait: This bait significantly increases your odds of hooking an Orca. You can purchase it for 525 coins by opening Quality Bait Crates found at Terrapin Island and Atlantis.
- Utilize a high-resilience rod: Orcas pose a challenge due to their intense resistance, boasting a four-perfect resilience and -80 Progress Speed. The Abyssal Specter Rod is highly recommended for its effectiveness. If your rod is not up to par, consider upgrading it with Enchant Relics (Resilient or Mystical), available from Merlin for 11, 000 in-game cash.
- Swift boats are essential: If players catch all five Orcas before the 15-minute period concludes, the event will end prematurely.
Catching Ancient Orcas in Fisch
The Ancient Orca is a rare variant of the standard Orca and possesses a secret rarity designation. Successfully catching one can yield 10, 000 EXP and can be sold for a considerably higher amount, weighing between 2, 000 and 5, 250 kg. To capture an Ancient Orca, you must participate in an Albine Orca Migration hunt utilizing Shark Head bait. This specific event blends in with standard Orca Migration hunts, and you won’t receive a separate notification.
Upon arriving at the location, watch for large, white Orcas leaping through the waves. Casting your line with a high-resilience rod and Shark Head bait will increase your chances of reeling this rare catch.
