The last half of ProLeague
The last half of ProLeague shows a few interesting results. Before going into the last half, both teams were in the mid pack of the 12 team league. With their results by their 11th game STX was ahead of OGN by 1 win and 9 points as OGN had -3 and STX had +6.
The OGN Train
Looking at the statistics, OGN has been a speeding locomotive the last half of ProLeague. After being shutout by Samsung KHAN 3 - 0, they came back with 4 straight 3 - 0 games against Hanbit Stars, CJ Entus, WeMade FOX, oh and STX Soul. They ended the last half with a 6 game winning streak. They might have cooled down a bit though, finishing off 3-2 against SKT1 and Lecaf OZ, but all should be good at the OGN house.
Consistency
Business as usual at the other house. STX Soul finished off the last half with a 7-4 record. Nothing too fancy, but it got them into the Playoffs. However, had they lost even one match they would have been knocked out by KTF who has a record of 13-9 and a +9. Losing one match meant that they would tie KTF in wins and losses, but that would have most likely meant that STX would lose in points.
Last time they met
Both teams split all kills between the two of them, but the roster might have been the difference. For one thing, the first time the two met, not even the duo of Justin and Flower won a game against STX's 2s team. So what changed the next time? A new 2s team was sent in, the duo of Zeus and YellOw[ArnC]. This same team is together again for the Playoff match. But other than that 2s team, the other teams are all different with slight variations.
One significant factor in the 1v1 matches is that STX Soul's star Terran Hwasin, was not present at the match where STX Soul lost 0 - 3 to OGN. This time, Hwasin will be slated to play in the second match against OGN's Shine. This could be a big momentum factor going into the 2s match to follow. Interestingly enough, both Luxury and Chalrenge are absent from OGN's lineup. Considering that STX has fielded their best team one has to wonder why OGN decides to not field their strongest players as well. In any event, at a glance it would seem that the STX has assembled the strongest team of the two. However, OGN did not reach the playoffs by playing poorly, so expect them to put up a fierce fight against their STX adversaries.

OGN is on fire, but their last two matches have gone down to the Ace match, could they be slowing down? They drastically improved their record from a -3 at the to a +10 by the end of the season. STX on the other hand has been fairly consistent only improving their points slightly, but they could be building off a win from JulyZerg's win in the OSL. Possible dreams for more championships this season?
