Poland, obviously not suffering from their unsuspected loss against
Russia in the ClanBase Nations Cup (5-2), as they keep on winning the recent nation wars. Their last was against France, a match where they mutilated the French team (6-1).
Next up against Poland was their neighbour Ukraine, a team that showed up with a lineup full of Terran players. Poland had a better mix of races, a thing that obviously gave them the upper hand. But it's not all about races, it's of course about the players. Poland showed a really strong lineup. Wiget, Spawn and Mario are all three very experienced and oldschool players in Team Poland.
An interesting player is KazioWichura, the Zerg player AKA InfectionHand, who won the WCG Poland this year. In the Polish finals, he played against Draco and won it, and went to WCG San Fransisco ranked #1 in Poland. Now, he is playing in Team Poland, and got set up against 88)Stre10k in a match he lost 0-2. It didn't matter though, thanks to Mario, Spawn, Wiget and Zyneck, Poland win with 4-2. Close, but not close enough.
