The rivalry between DK and Newbee continue to surge to greater heights as they will duke it out again in the best of 5 Grand Finals that will be played tomorrow, 22 June. 

DK will once again face off against NewBee in another series tomorrow, 22 June at 13:00CEST/19:00SGT. The best of 5 Grand Final will determine who takes home the lion's share of the ~$16,000 prize pool, as well as bragging rights in the intense rivalry between these two teams. 

The double elimination tournament has featured the top eight teams in China, with many falling along the way. To reach the Grand Final, NewBee had gone through the Winner's Bracket in convincing fashion, including a 2-1 win against DK in the Winner's Bracket Final. However, DK struck back against Vici Gaming in the Loser's Bracket final, taking a 2-0 victory against them. What was impressive was that the victory included a 16 minute GG from Vici Gaming in the first game in spite of DK drafting an Anti-Mage and Shadow Fiend for BurNing and Mushi respectively. 

The rivalry between DK and NewBee has been heating up of late, with many predicting both teams to be amongst the top contenders at the upcoming The International 2014. It appears that both teams are very evenly matched as well, with the total map score between the two teams finishing at 4-4 after the three best of 3s yesterday. It should be noted as well that although the map scores are even, NewBee ended up the victor in match counts, taking a 2-1 win in both the WVW semi-final and the SUNT-CDEC Winner's Bracket Final. DK took the consolation 2-0 victory in the GEST Challenge semi-final, knocking NewBee out of the tournament.
