Close one

The games were hotly contested and were very close. The match ended in favor of the Korean Terran, with his well known TvP opening, with a total of four games to three.

ToT)Strafe < V-Gundam @ Bifrost III

Not many believed in Strafe

Before the match you were able to cast a vote about who would stand as the champion between the two of them. The match was up on Liquibet.

Poor Strafe only got voted on by 118 people, while Gundam got the votes from 699 players. There was no doubt what the public thoughts were. Of course Gundam was going to own that Protoss, just like he has done to so many others. Although, as you know - that was not what happened. Strafe did a lot better than most people expected him to do.

APM's

I don't want to start some really big discussion - we have had so many of them allready - but one interesting thing is the players' APMs. Thanks to jca and his wonderful program, » BWChart, I could check out the different APMs both players had in the series of games.

Strafe had an APM between 130-140 in almost all of the games. That is not very high if you compare it to Gundam's 330-350. Although, he was still able to defeat the Korean in three out of seven games.

Replay pack and RWAs

I collected the replays (all of them are available on TL.net) and made a little replay pack of the games. You can download it » here.

At the moment there are two RWAs from game, number one and two available
» here, on Manifesto7's site.
