The very same uhjoo has done it again, ladies and gentlemen. As Reach eliminated XellOs and iloveoov did the same to NaDa, both winners were interviewed.
Here is a little sample from each interview.
Q: Recently your games are very strategy-oriented.
A: It's because it's so difficult to win. Because the other players are so skilled, it is difficult to win with just conservative play. So I had no choice but to choose unconventional plays, and they worked well. And recently I spend alot of time thinking. Because I'm not well physically, I instead spend alot of time imagining various scenarios in my mind. This has naturally helped during actual games.
Q: Your opponent in the semis, Park Jung-suk (Reach) is very strong against terran.
A: I think it's better than going against another terran. Because I've faced so many terrans recently I don't have any new strategies up my sleeve. At this point I prefer matchups against non-terrans. And I think that my record against Reach to this point is 4-1 or 5-1.
The semi finals will be very interesting with games between Boxer and Yellow, the guys that have a history that goes a very long time back. And of course, the current number one on the KeSPA ranking, iloveoov versus Reach, who will definitely put up a fight.
