The third season of the successful CS:GO Champions League starts today with $20,000 in prize money on the line.?

Today marks the commencement of the CS:GO Champions League Season 3. Sixteen teams will be battling it out for a slice of the $20,000 prize pool, as well as bragging rights over the title of Champion. The group stage will adhere to the GSL format with best-of-one matches. The top two teams from each group are invited to the online playoffs stage, which will all be single-elimination, best-of-three, excluding the Grand final and 3rd place decider, both of which will be best-of-five. Two streams are available for viewing, one in English and one in Russian.

 In terms of the map pool, it will be the classic competitive that includes the following seven maps: de_Inferno, de_Dust2, de_Train , de_Mirage, de_Cobblestone, de_Overpass and de_Cache.
