Pavel "BRAT_OK" Kuznetsov, who had to stay at home due to having trouble gaining a visa to DreamHack, won the ESL Go4SC2 Cup last Sunday after having defeated Anton "Aristeo" Vasiliev in the final by 3-0.
BRAT_OK had an somewhat easy way through the brackets, not bumping in to any top ranked player. Aristeo, in the other side of the brackets, had to fight off player as NightEnD and Bly to reach the final.
BRAT_OK's marines, tanks and medivacs pushed his countryman to the toughest, who's roaches and banelings were unable to withtstand the three-base Terran ball.
The second game saw Ariseto move over to Protoss, but BRAT_OK could once again prevail with solid macro management, even throwing in some ghosts in the late-game.
The third game on Jungle Basin showed some nice micro from Aristeo. His four warp gate pylon proxy just outside BRAT_OK's main successfully wreaked havoc to the Russian Terran's mineral line, being down to only 6 SCVs at one time of the game. Thankfully for BRAT_OK, he could fend it off with his three barracks marine, marauder force.
BRAT_OK on the defensive, Aristeo kept on attacking, reinforced with Colossi, but was never able to break the defense of the Terran. At the 20 minute mark, Aristeo had just lost a close fight inside BRAT_OK's main, and decided to go all-in with the remains of his troops. Accompanied with probes, his Probe ball of forces marched in, but Brat_OK's marine, marauder medivac force could fend it off, which saw Aristeo call good game.
