Allu out of NiP

The Ninjas in Pyjamas revealed this week that their star AWPer, Aleksi "allu" Jalli will be stepping down from the team after his contract expires at the end of the year. The Finnish player has been with NiP for less than a year, joining up with the team after trying out for the spot left by his predecessor, Mikail "Maikelele" Bill, in mid-Feburary.

TSM lose CS:GO team

The other suprising team news of the week was the announcement by Team SoloMid that they will be letting go of their extremely successful Danish CS:GO roster. Andy ''Reginald'' Dinh, team owner of Team SoloMid, had the said the following about the departure:

“ The CS:GO team was a wonderful pleasure to work with. They were a group of extremely talented and hardworking players, and it is a great shame to see them go. I wish them the best of luck for the future.”

Turner League to have $1.2 million in prizes

The much anticipated TBS and WME IMG CS:GO league finally got an official announcement this week, and with it, the exciting news that the league will include a whopping $1,200,000 prize pot. Here's a small excerpt from Lenny Daniels', President of Turner Sports, full statement:

Fnatic wins Fragbite Masters S5

Fnatic have come out victorious at yet another event this week, this time at the Fragbite Masters Season 5 LAN finals. They took on their Swedish rivals the Ninjas in Pyjamas in the grandfinals match, eventually comign out the better 2-1 and taking the first place title. Dreamhack Leipzig with $100,000

This year has seen the last of Dreamhack's CS:GO tournaments, but 2016 is just around the corner with a whole slew of new tournaments to look foward to, the first being Dreamhack Open Leipzig which is slated to take place near the end of January. Dreamhack has now revealed this week that Liepzig will feature a hefty $100,000 prize pool for the eight teams in attendence.
