Genshin Impact Lynette Ascension materials can be farmed mostly in and around Fontaine. Lynette, the four-star Anemo character in Genshin Impact, was released alongside the launch of patch 4.0 with Fontaine and Lyney.

Lynette’s kit is geared towards supporting your party as a sub-DPS. Her Swirling capabilities leave a lot to be desired unless you get her to C6. Even so, if you need an Anemo sub-DPS, taking the time to invest in Lynette will give you a useful character who is expertly suited to exploring Fontaine.

You can check out our Genshin Impact Lynette build guide to learn more about how to use her. Make sure to also check our guide on the new Genshin Impact 4.1 banner speculation to see if you should save your Primogems for the next banners. Now, on to where to find Lynette’s Ascension materials.

Genshin Impact Lynette Ascension materials

As with all characters in Genshin, the grind to ascend your units is real. Lynette, as is expected, follows the same level-up and Ascension path and methods as everyone else. You will always need a boatload of Mora, a specific local speciality, and a monster material drop you get from a World Boss. You will need all of these things below to get Lynette to level 90, but we generally suggest level 80 to be an excellent stopping point if you get sick of the grind and then you can reassess.

The above materials will be everything you need to get Lynette from level one to level 90. Feel free to stop at level 80, since this will reduce the investment. We recommend only levelling your favourite characters to level 90 due to how many resources you’ll need. All told, you will need the following to get to level 90:

  • 1 Vayuda Turquoise Sliver
  • 9 Vayuda Turquoise Fragment
  • 9 Vayuda Turquoise Chunk
  • 6 Vayuda Turquoise Gemstone
  • 168 Lumidouce Bell
  • 18 Meshing Gear
  • 30 Mechanical Spur Gear
  • 36 Artificed Dynamic Gear
  • 46 Coppelia
  • 419 Hero’s Wit
  • 7.1M Mora

Where to find Lumidouce Bell

Lumidouce Bells can only be found in Fontaine, but they are scattered around the whole map instead of found in condensed areas. There is a high concentration of them in the northern section of the map, north of Fontaine city, which can be easily accessed by a Teleport Waypoint to the northeast side by the beach. Another great area to find them in is Elynas, the area just up from the Statue of the Seven. These nodes offer you three Lumidouce Bells per collection, making them relatively easy to farm.

Where to find Meshing Gears

Meshing Gears are dropped from almost every clockwork enemy found in Fontaine. You can encounter these enemies above land and underwater, making them an easy farming source for gears. The higher your World Level, the higher the chance you will have more materials drop when you defeat them. They are dotted all about the map in Fontaine, such as the Beryl Region, but make sure you defeat each one you find to get the most materials.

The Adventurer Handbook is your friend

You can use the Adventurer Handbook to track specific enemies down and find their locations. This is a great way to find monster materials you might be missing. Bear in mind, after tracking several of them in the Adventurer Handbook, the game will stop showing them on the map. This doesn’t mean there aren’t any left to beat, so keep looking around.

Where to find Coppelia

With the 4.0 update and Fontaine came new World Bosses. One of these bosses is the Icewind Suite, who you can fight just outside the Fontaine Courthouse, to the right of the Fountain of Lucine. It is important to note that this boss will either drop Coppelia or Coppelius, the reward is determined by the dialogue choice you make to initiate the fight with the Icewind Suite. To get Coppelia as the drop, you must select the dialogue option Dirge of Coppelia.

Alternative route

To reach the boss, you can either run from the teleport by the fountaine, or you can use the northernmost teleport by Marcotte Station and run north to a bubble transporter. This will put you on a cliff overlooking the boss arena and you can glide down. According to our test, it is roughly 4 seconds quicker to run from the fountaine.

Where to find Vayuda Turquoise Crystals

As an Anemo user, Lynette needs the Vayuda Turquoise crystals to ascend and level up. Typically, these crystals are dropped by World Bosses who are aligned to Anemo. The following bosses will always drop Vayuda Turquoise crystals:

  • Icewind Suite – Dirge of Coppelia
  • Anemo Hypostasis
  • Maguu Kenki
  • Setek Wenut

While the above bosses all drop these Anemo-aligned crystals for ascending Anemo characters, if you are solely focusing on Lynette you should prioritise the Dirge of Coppelia and fight the Icewind Suite since this will get you Vayuda Turquoise crystals and her the Coppelia ascension material she needs.

Lynette’s Talent materials

As a Fontaine character, Lynette uses the Talent books obtained from the Talent Book Domain added in 4.0, the Pale Forgotten Glory. Lynette’s Talent Books can only be obtained on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

As a note, the materials listed above are for levelling just one of her three available Talents. If you want to her other two talents, you will need these materials again. All told you need three times the items in this table to get each Talent to level ten. You will also need three Crown of Insight items, which are special items that let you level a Talent to level ten. Crowns of Insight are given out frequently as rewards from events, as well as being obtainable from exploration.

Where to find Everamber

Everamber is the Weekly Boss drop Lynette needs to level her Talents higher than level 6. Everamber is one of three materials dropped by the weekly boss, Apep. This Dendro Dragon was released alongside the second story quest featuring Nahida, meaning you will have to clear the Archon Quests through Sumeru and Nahid’s story quest to unlock this Trounce Domain. Apep’s lair is found in the north of the second desert area in Sumeru.

With that, you have everything you need to level Lynette and increase her Talents. Want to know how to get to Fontaine in Genshin Impact? Now that you’ve levelled Lynette, you should check out the Genshin Impact Lynette best builds to get her performing well.
