Calling Cards make a welcome return in Call of Duty Black Ops 6, giving players the chance to spruce up their profile with some flashy nameplate backgrounds for ultimate bragging rights. As with previous CoD games, these are hard-earned and are there to highlight when you’ve committed to the grind and then some. There are over 450 individual Calling Cards for players to unlock via specific Challenges in different game modes but also through promos, the Battle Pass, Twitch Drops, and for taking part in the Open Beta. In this guide, we’ll walk you through all the details, including how to earn Calling Cards in each of the modes and a quick primer on 100 Percenter Cards and the exciting return of Darks Ops Challenges.

To earn Calling Cards, you’ll need to complete set Challenges in all four game modes – Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. These Challenges are split into different categories. Each category then contains several sets for players to earn. Obtaining every Calling Card in a Challenge set then unlocks an Animated Calling Card exclusive to that set. Here are the Calling Card Challenge categories:

  • Career
  • Battle Hardened
  • Prestige (only in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone modes)
  • Dark Ops

Prestige Challenges, which are exclusive to Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, consist of 10 base levels and a Prestige Master level for each mode. For every level, you’ll have access to a dedicated Challenge set with its own Calling Card, giving you 11 sets to tick off per eligible mode.

To access Challenges, head to the Barracks then tap Challenges. You’ll then get a full breakdown of the mode, category, set, and each individual challenge along with details on progress.

Dark Ops Challenges

Omitted from CoD since 2020’s Black Ops Cold War, Darks Ops Calling Card Challenges are back for Black Ops 6. They adopt the same Challenge structure as the other categories but the unlock criteria is shrouded in mystery and hidden until you complete them. You’ll also earn Dark Ops Mastery for completing all the Challenges in each mode. A leak claims to have unearthed all the unlock requirements for Dark Ops Challenges, which we’ve listed below, but a dose of scepticism is recommended before they’re confirmed:

To cater to the most dedicated players, Treyarch has also cooked up three exclusive 100 Percenter Animated Calling Cards for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. To earn these, you’ll need to complete every Career, Battle Hardened, and Prestige Challenge in a mode. Expect a major grind to secure these. Check the image above for a preview of all three 100 Percenter Cards.
