We’re sure you have a lot of questions, but solving them requires even more exploration. If you haven’t found an Enigmatic Tablet before, now is the time. If you collect all of them, you can decrypt the unusual signal within these tablets to uncover the mysteries of the ARY-26 planet. If you’re ready, let’s start the tablet hunt!

How To Use Alien Tablets

Alien tablets, also known as Enigmatic Tablets, are useless on their own. If you want to unravel their mystery, you need to find all ten of them. Once you’ve found them, you must scan each one.

After collecting all the tablets, you can return to the Javelin and watch the video titled 'Alien Research' on your computer. This will also unlock the achievement 'The Answer is 42'.

Where To Find The First Alien Tablet

• Nearest Teleporter Location

• Outside The Javelin

To find this tablet, you need to have unlocked the Shock Fruit Stabilizer upgrade and have a Shock Plant with you.

To find this Alien Tablet, start from Outside The Javelin. Head to the other end of the ice cave. Once you reach the other side, proceed east. In the distance, you’ll see a massive skeleton to the northeast; head towards it.

Nearby, there is a cave entrance inside the skull of the mammoth skeleton. Go inside. Inside, on the left, you’ll find a circular door. Stand a bit away from the door and use your Shock Plant to open it. Inside, you'll find the tablet and an Orange Goo.

Where To Find The Second Alien Tablet

• Planetary Flotsam

To find this tablet, all you need to do is teleport to the Planetary Flotsam teleporter and head southwest. You will see the tablet on the floating island ahead.

Where To Find The Third Alien Tablet

• Nearest Teleporter Location

• Festering Chasm

To obtain this tablet, you need to have at least three Grapple Seeds with you.

Head northeast from the teleporter along the path. Follow the path to the left of the massive repulsive trees, and at the end of the path, you will see a cave entrance to the northwest.

Be cautious of the Bombodoro Fruits and the poisonous pool inside the cave. First, enter and stand at the edge of the poisonous pool. Throw a Grapple Seed at the Barnacle Grapples you see to your right and grapple onto the flower.

Then throw another seed at the barnacle to the west and grapple onto it. Throw another seed at the barnacle to the east. After reaching the barnacle to the east, jump into the cave ahead to find the tablet.

Where To Find The Fourth Alien Tablet

• Fungi of Si'ned VII

To obtain this tablet, you must have unlocked the Advanced Launch Boosters upgrade.

Head north and continue with the massive pillars on your right. As you continue with the pillars on your right, you will reach the Advanced Proton Tether Shrine.

From there, proceed to the lake to the northeast and go to the left of the two massive pillars behind the giant mushroom northeast of the lake. Turn north and use the Launch Boosters to climb up the cliff.

Stand in front of the tablet with the jump symbol and use the Launch Boosters again to go higher. Look down to the east, and you will see a pit. Inside the pit, you will find the tablet.

Where To Find The Fifth Alien Tablet

• Xerophilous Landing

To find this tablet, you need to have unlocked the Shock Fruit Stabilizer upgrade and have a Shock Plant with you.

Head northeast from the teleporter. Look down the cliff and you will see a ledge with a grapple flower below; jump down to that ledge. Once there, turn southwest, and you will see a gate.

Stand in front of the gate and use a Shock Fruit to open it. Once inside, use your Stomp Boosters to break the Cracked Stone Grate on the ground.

After falling through, you’ll need to navigate through the lasers to reach the end of the area. This can be a bit tricky, so slide to avoid slowing down. At the end of the area, you will find the tablet waiting for you.

Where To Find The Sixth Alien Tablet

• Nearest Teleporter Location

• Repaired Teleporter

To obtain this tablet, you need to have at least three Grapple Seeds with you.

Exit the cave where the teleporter is located and head south. Pass the chimney-shaped rock pillars and go east to the base of the horizontal pillar above the cliff, which is covered in barnacles.

Break the crystalline plants with your pistol and enter the glowing green cave. The cave floor has a sludge-like substance that will cause you damage.

Inside the cave, throw grapple seeds at the barnacles and use them to grapple northeast. In the northeast part of the cave, you will see a blue glowing entrance above. The tablet will be waiting for you there.

Where To Find The Seventh Alien Tablet

• Tears of T'bo

To obtain this tablet, you need to have at least one Grapple Seeds with you.

Head to the watery area to the northwest. Then use Launch Boosters to climb onto the rock to the north.

Proceed north and jump onto the floating stones ahead. As you progress, you'll see barnacles on a vertical rock in the distance. Throw a grapple seed at them. Once you're latched on, look east, and you'll see the tablet on a ledge.

Where To Find The Eighth Alien Tablet

• Nearest Teleporter Location

• Moist Vestibule

To find this tablet, you need to have unlocked the Triple Thrusters upgrade.

Head east and jump into the circular area filled with pods just before the boss fight. Go to the highest level of this circular area and head towards the part with tree roots.

Turn to the wall between the pod clusters and jump up. When you jump, enter the narrow gap and you will find the alien tablet behind the column inside.

Where To Find The Ninth Alien Tablet

• Nearest Teleporter Location

• Moist Vestibule

Head east and jump into the circular area filled with pods, just before the boss fight arena. Go down one level in this circular area and reach the section with pipe-like acid-spitting appendages above.

Here, you'll find a narrow gap at the top of a wall between the pods that you can crouch to pass through. Behind this gap, in the room beyond, you'll find the tablet behind a square stone.

Where To Find The Tenth Alien Tablet

• Nearest Teleporter Location

• Moist Vestibule

Descend from the room where you found the previous tablet and reach the circular area one level below, which contains long-range flame-throwing entities targeting you. Stand in the center of the room and face south. You'll see the tablet inside one of the pods above.
