During your time playing Palworld, a lot of materials can be discovered in the open world, either as a drop from pals or from natural resources, yet not all the ones you need are readily collected. Many of them require crafting using a production structure with the required materials.

PostsThis is precisely the case when it comes to crafting Polymer which is another item that you need to craft rather than obtain from the open world. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of obtaining this material.
Palworld is in Early Access, meaning that the details below are liable to change over the course of development.
How To Get Polymer
In order to craft Polymer, there are a few things you need to set up in your base. First, reach level 33 to unlock it in the Technology menu; but that's the easy part.
Before collecting the required materials, you need to set up a Production Assembly Line, which can be unlocked at level 28 in the Technology menu. It requires 100 Ingots, 50 Wood, 20 Nails, and 10 Cement.
Once built, you'll notice it requires electricity, leading us to the second step, a Power Generator. This structure is unlocked at level 26 in the Technology menu and requires 50 Ingots and 20 Electric Organs to build.
After construction, you need to assign an electric pal to it to provide power and make the Assembly Line you built earlier functional.
With everything set up, the final step is to obtain High Quality Pal Oil. This material can be dropped by Dumuds and Digitoises, both found in the desert biome at coordinates -158, -91.
Since this area is hot, ensure you have a heat-resistant outfit before heading there.
After obtaining High Quality Pal Oil, return to your base and interact with the Production Assembly Line to craft Polymer.
