Stalker 2 Guide: Solving the Electricity Puzzle in the CSC Building Basement in Pripyat
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl features numerous locked areas that house incredible loot, particularly within the Pripyat region. One notable spot is the CSC point of interest, which contains a locked cell in the basement of its building. Behind this door rests a significant vault waiting to be accessed. To unlock this, players must first activate the electrical breaker located adjacent to the door to restore power. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to achieve this.
Unlocking the CSC Building’s Locked Door in Pripyat
To access the CSC point of interest within the Pripyat region, head east of the Energetik Palace of Culture base. The building offers an entrance that leads down to the basement, where you will encounter two locked doors alongside a disabled electrical panel.
Your first task is to locate the wire emerging from the panel, as you’ll need to trace this wire to restore power. Once electricity is reinstated, you’ll be able to open the locked doors in the basement.
Restoring Power to the Building’s Basement
Continue to follow the wires leading from the electrical box into the main CSC building. You’ll find that the wire ascends a stairway obstructed by debris. To reach this, enter the main lobby and take the second doorway on your left.
Proceed through the hallway into the left room, where you’ll discover a hole in the wall. This will lead you to another section of the CSC building, allowing you to access the stairs that climb to the first floor.
On the first floor, keep following the hallway and enter the door on your right, which leads to another hole in the wall. This area will bring you into a room that contains several corpses. Look to the right side of this room where you will find a generator that you must activate to restore power to the basement’s electrical panel.
Accessing the CSC Basement Locked Door
Once the generator is operational, make your way back to the basement of the CSC building and flip the breaker on the electrical panel. Be prepared, as a bloodsucker will emerge from one of the adjacent rooms, which must be eliminated.
After defeating the bloodsucker, you can finally access the locked cell. Inside the vault, you will find the highly sought-after Lead Container blueprint for the Operator Exoskeleton suit, along with additional valuable loot such as scientific medkits, ammunition, and food supplies.
