No, there is no option to start a new game. Instead, players are seamlessly returned to the world of Rise of the Ronin and can continue their journey. What distinguishes Rise of the Ronin is its unique Soul Testimony feature. Unlocked after completing Chapter 1 and obtaining the in-game book Testimony of the Soul, this mechanic allows players to revisit any mission and make different choices, providing a deeper understanding of the story. This means that players can experience all of the game’s narrative without having to restart.

Rewards for Completing the Game

Indeed, the Midnight difficulty setting is the most noteworthy unlock. By using Soul Testament, you can activate this difficulty for any previously completed mission, essentially allowing you to experience the game again on a more challenging level.
