Square Enix Launches FFVII Rebirth Screenshot Contest

Square Enix has officially kicked off a promotional initiative for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, focusing on its Photo Mode feature. Gamers playing the PS5 version are encouraged to submit their in-game screenshots by January 5, 2025. These images will be featured in a dedicated gallery leading up to the game’s release on PC.

Submit Your Best Shots for Recognition

Participating in the FFVII Rebirth screenshot contest offers a unique chance for gamers to share their experience, although there are no physical or digital prizes involved; recognition is the sole reward. Players are invited to capture images from chapters 1-13 of the game to avoid spoilers and post them on X (formerly Twitter). Using the hashtag #FF7RJourney24, participants must follow either the Japanese or English accounts and describe the significance of their chosen scene.

Gallery Selection and Guidelines

Post the submission deadline, Square Enix will choose a selection of screenshots to showcase in a special online gallery and across their social media platforms. While the exact number of selected entries has not been disclosed, it’s essential for participants to adhere to content guidelines to avoid disqualification. Images that do not meet the established decency standards or official image posting guidelines may be excluded from consideration.

Release Information

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to launch on PC on January 23, 2025, with its availability starting immediately on PS5. Additionally, players can explore the original Final Fantasy VII Remake across PS4, PS5, and PC platforms. Development is already underway for the third installment in this beloved series. Furthermore, FFVII Ever Crisis is accessible worldwide on both PC and mobile devices, catering to fans of the franchise across various platforms.
