In the expansive world of Monster Hunter Wilds, players can utilize a diverse array of materials to create tools that not only heal but also enhance their combat effectiveness against formidable monsters. While you may prefer to focus solely on your chosen weapon for battle, integrating consumables into your strategy can significantly boost your performance, regardless of your play style.

One essential category of consumables to keep in your inventory is the various powders, which offer valuable buffs. Each type of powder can be crafted using specific materials. A crucial component for crafting these powders is the Godbug, making it vital for players to know where to efficiently farm for them.

Where to Farm Godbugs in Monster Hunter Wilds

Godbugs can be harvested by directly interacting with them, whether by hand, via your Palico, or using your Slinger. One notable aspect of farming Godbugs is their respawn rate; they will reappear after fifteen minutes in real-time post-collection, allowing you to farm them effectively. Various regions in the game are home to Godbugs, and understanding the best locations can maximize your farming efficiency.

Plains

This region can yield a wealth of basic materials, but if you’re specifically hunting for Godbugs, focus on Area 16. You can find two Godbugs on the northern side of the path leading to Area 17. Furthermore, there are additional Godbugs located along the southern wall as you approach Area 17.

Forest

The Forest boasts a few productive spots for farming, with at least one or two Godbugs in each area; however, Area 16 stands out as the prime location, featuring five Godbug spawn points within a compact area, making traversal straightforward. As you journey toward Area 16, keep an eye out for Areas 14 and 17, which each house three Godbug locations as well.

Basin

When compared to the Forest, the Basin proves less fruitful for Godbug farming. Nonetheless, if you find yourself traversing this area, you can spot two Godbugs along the path to Area 17 and one additional Godbug in Area 14.

Cliffs

The Cliffs provide excellent opportunities for gathering late-game materials, including a few spots suitable for Godbug farming. Specifically, Areas 12 and 5 each contain two Godbug spawn points, conveniently located near Pop-Up Camp spots, making them easy to access during your adventures.
