Fortnite Guide: Completing Weapon Expertise Quests Successfully

Fortnite Hunters has entered an exhilarating new chapter with Chapter 6, immersing players in an enchanting world influenced by Japanese mythology. This fresh environment is populated with formidable demon bosses, vibrant items, and the ability to teleport across the landscape using Void Oni Masks. An exciting new feature enhances the gameplay experience by ensuring players can secure high-rarity weapons more reliably than ever.

The introduction of Weapon Expertise Quests in Fortnite Hunters rewards players with XP for completing various stages. Additionally, these quests grant access to exclusive Legendary weapons available from NPCs scattered throughout the map.

As of January 14, 2025, by Nathan Round: Fortnite Hunters evolves rapidly with each update, continuously introducing players to new challenges through additional Expertise Quests. This updated guide now reflects the latest Melee Expertise Quests that enable players to acquire the Typhoon Blade from Kendo upon successful completion.

Overview of Weapon Expertise Quests

Weapon Expertise Quests represent a distinctive feature in Fortnite Hunters, intricately linked to certain NPCs positioned throughout the game world. Players are introduced to this feature via an initial Quest that instructs them to engage with Hope, Ruji, or Agent Jones regarding Expertise and weapon sales.

These quests are structured as a series of multi-stage challenges, each comprising five sequential tasks. Players who successfully complete these challenges unlock access to one of three Legendary weapons available from Hope, Ruji, or Vengeance Jones. New sets of Expertise Quests have also been introduced, enabling players to acquire Oni Masks from Daigo for faster map traversal and the Typhoon Blade from Kendo. Players can monitor their quest progress in the main lobby or the in-game Quests Tab under Expertise Quests.

While it’s possible to complete Weapon Expertise Quests at a leisurely pace, the tenure required varies significantly. Nonetheless, players will find that the rewards for engaging in these pursuits are substantial.
