In the world of Grow a Garden on Roblox, increasing your pet slots is entirely possible, but it comes at a price. Players typically start with three pet slots, allowing for modest early gameplay dynamics. However, those seeking to expand their horizons can ultimately unlock five additional slots, bringing the total to eight pets. While purchasing through Robux is one option, a viable free method exists that involves trading in some of your existing pets.
Unlocking Additional Pet Slots in Grow a Garden
To begin, you’ll want to converse with Raphael, the pet and egg salesman. He provides the option to view pet information; alternatively, you can access the in-game shop by clicking the “shop”icon. From there, navigate to the “Pets”section and select “Free Upgrades.”
Once in the Free Upgrades menu, look for a new section titled Trade In Pets For Extra Pet Equip Slots. You’ll find a disabled button labeled “trade in selected pet.”This mechanic enables you to unlock additional equip slots by trading in older pets, but there’s a catch: specific age prerequisites must be met. To earn your first additional pet slot, you will need to trade a pet that’s reached at least level 20. For the second slot, this increases to level 30, and so on.

In general, it’s advisable to approach the unlocking of new pet slots progressively rather than attempting to acquire all five at once.
