Fallout: London Mod Set to Release First DLC Following Successful Launch

In July, the gaming community celebrated the release of Fallout: London, a fan-made mod for Bethesda’s Fallout 4 that boasts a scale comparable to a full downloadable content (DLC) expansion. Developed by Team FOLON—a diverse group of enthusiasts, industry professionals, and skilled modders—this ambitious project took over five years to complete. Following its successful launch and some initial patches, the development team has recently unveiled exciting news: the mod will be receiving its own DLC.

Announcement of Upcoming DLC

In their latest community update regarding patch v1.03, Team FOLON shared that what started as a simple hotfix has evolved significantly. The upcoming update, which will now also affect save files, has led the team to decide against a small update. Instead, they announced plans to incorporate these changes into what they are calling their inaugural DLC.

“Rather than risking complications from a minor update, we’ve opted to combine these developments into our first DLC,” stated Team FOLON. “This expansion will include both new content as well as previously excluded features that we are currently restoring.”

Team FOLON has indicated that more information about the new and restored content will be shared soon, with a tentative release projected for 2025. In an effort to further engage their community, the team has transitioned to a registered business and is actively seeking feedback on future projects. They have launched a survey to understand player experiences with Fallout: London, explore potential future genres, and gather opinions on the possibility of Early Access for upcoming titles.
