Exciting Launch of HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT Announced

Arc System Works has officially revealed that the highly anticipated fighting game HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT will be released on July 17. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first game drawn from the renowned manga and anime series by Yoshihiro Togashi to be introduced to an international audience.

Pre-Order Details and Bonuses

Digital pre-orders are now available for the game on PlayStation 5 and Steam. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch version will be offered later. Players who select the Deluxe Edition will enjoy 48 hours of early access along with exclusive color variations for characters: Killua on PS5 and Hisoka on PC. Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch pre-orders will unlock a unique color for the beloved character Gon.

Retail Editions: Standard and Limited

Physical copies will be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, limited to two editions: Standard and Limited Edition. The Limited Edition will feature an impressive array of collectibles:

Character Roster and DLC Information

At launch, players can select from sixteen characters representing different story arcs from the 2011 anime adaptation. The first downloadable content (DLC) character will be Nephelpito from the Chimera Ants arc. Players can acquire him through a separate DLC purchase or by opting for the Deluxe version of the game. Notably, he is the first of four characters included in Season Pass 1, scheduled for release in Winter 2025.

Game Modes and Features

HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT offers a rich variety of offline modes. These include:

• Free Battle
• Training Mode: Practice with various settings and features a “Record” function for replaying fights.
• Replay Section: Review your best matches.
• Story Mode: Relive key scenes from HUNTERxHUNTER while facing off against AI opponents in specific scenarios.

Additionally, stages function as tutorials that enhance players’ understanding of the game while showcasing memorable moments from the anime. The Single Mode presents numerous challenges, including the “Sky Arena, ” where players compete in a CPU series to earn the title of “Floor Master.” Each character also has their own interesting “Combo Trial” for players to hone their skills.

Collectibles and Multiplayer Options

Engagement within the Story and Single modes also allows players to gather “Titles, ””Profile Icons, ”and special Greed Island Cards (G. I.Cards) to fill their collections and customize their online profiles.

In terms of multiplayer experience, rollback netcode is implemented to ensure a seamless online gaming environment. Players can explore modes such as Player Matches for casual engagements and Ranked Matches where they can strive to attain the prestigious “Triple Hunter” status by accumulating Rank Points and showcasing their skills. Both multiplayer options empower players to challenge each other and earn G. I.Cards.
