The upcoming Pokemon GO Scattered to the Winds event features two specific Research quests along with an event-centric Collection Challenge. Notably, this event introduces the Shiny forms of Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon, with Shiny Scatterbug accessible exclusively via postcard pinning.
Scheduled to commence on February 18, 2025, at 10 AM Local Time, the event spans just two days, concluding on February 20 at 8 PM Local Time. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in an event-exclusive Field Research quest, a paid Timed Research quest, and a Collection Challenge. Successful completion of these tasks yields numerous valuable rewards including XP, Rare Candy, and various Pokemon encounters.

The Field Research segment of Scattered to the Winds consists of four distinct tasks, which include spinning multiple PokeStops or Gyms, as well as sending gifts to fellow Pokemon GO enthusiasts.
