Navigating to Far Fields

To reach Far Fields, you’ll need to progress just beyond Deep Docks. After conquering this area and defeating the boss, Lace, the entrance will be nearby. Another option is to use the Bellway station at Deep Docks and make your way from there. Remember to rest at the nearby bench before advancing.

Simply head straight right—if you’ve purchased the map from Shakra, you can easily follow the path on it to your destination. Regardless of the route taken, you’ll end up in a lush green forest suspended over a pool of molten lava.

Now that you’ve successfully ventured into Far Fields, prepare to delve deeper into your Silksong journey.

Navigating to the Wind Shaft

Proceeding right, you will encounter small creatures that roam the ground and sky. Fortunately, these creatures are peaceful and will not attack unless provoked, making them non-threatening. However, if you’re in need of silk, don’t hesitate to eliminate them.

As you progress, a set of platforms leading upwards will come into view. If you possess the Cling Grip, you can easily access the alcove above and continue into the upper section of Far Fields. If you don’t have the grip, stick to the right path where you will confront an ant swordsman.

Defeating this enemy will allow you to continue right. You’ll encounter two foes on the upper route, while the lower path involves a jump. If you have the Cling Grip, the upper path is advisable; otherwise, opt for the lower route. Either way, you’ll eventually arrive at the wind shaft, opening up the area for exploration.

Obtaining the Drifter’s Cloak

One of the primary objectives in Far Fields is acquiring the Drifter’s Cloak. Accessing it is straightforward—refer to the map in the gallery for guidance. Upon reaching the other side, continue to the right, crossing some perilous lava platforms. Pay attention to a figure hidden behind the lava, as they will be significant shortly.

Cross all the way to the opposite side, then ascend via the cliffs. Use the platforms to reach the summit, where you can speak to the Seamstress and embark on a quest that will reward you with the coveted Drifter’s Cloak.

Before heading back to the shaft, make your way past the Seamstress’s location to the right, and ride the wind upwards, ensuring to dodge the spikes on your right. Travel to the left, where floating rocks with wind gusts obstructed by lava await. Break them open and continue riding the wind upwards until you find a small alcove.

Inside the alcove, you’ll encounter a series of red spikes blocking your path. Navigate underneath them and create a passage through the wind. Ascend, and look for a conspicuous lava chunk on the ceiling. Jump to smash it, creating an opening that conceals a mask shard inside.

After completing this task, your exploration of the shaft in Far Fields will be significantly easier. Return to the central shaft, ascend to the top, and locate a door on the right side—this is a Bellway Station, which you can unlock if you possess the necessary rosaries.

Go back to the shaft and enter the room in the bottom left corner. Defeat the enemy there, then maneuver into a small gap to reach the top platform. Here, you’ll discover the Warding Bell, a useful item that provides protection during healing.

Conquering the Fourth Chorus

Once you feel prepared, navigate to the specified area on the map from the gallery. Ascend to the middle platform where the climactic boss battle against the Fourth Chorus will commence.
