[s]wow[/s]

It is the start of the weekend and WarCraft weekly is here where Eyonix takes a good bunch of blue posts that may or may not intrest you. I selected a few that I am definetly interested in, and as always, check the original thread for the entire week's posts.

Blizzard has officially stated that loot tables are NOT affected by any outside influences, some rumors and conspiracy theories are out there that changing raid leaders changes how and what drops, but this is officially dismissed.

Each mob has a pre-determined loot table, and is not affected by any outside influences (such as those you listed). The one exception would be for items that are class specific being able to drop for a faction that does not harbor that class. Anything that is random is going to exhibit some type of pattern at some point, and these patterns can cause a superstition to arise when no concrete evidence can be shown disproving their superstition is false. In fact, I can almost guarantee someone reading this will refuse to believe that the loot drops are not affected by outside influences simply because of a pattern they witnessed.

Blizzard is also still working on getting paid character transfers up and running and the explination for why it is taking so long is just a bit, humorous.

We are continuing to work on allowing paid character transfers at some point. It is a complex service and the planning that it requires could be understated as 'ginourmous'. It is still a service that we are planning to offer, however there is still no estimate on its availability that we are willing to provide at this time.

There are definetly a lot more issues address and looked at including some looks at mages, rogues, and shaman. Take a look at the link below to check out all the weeks discussion!
