Xuwen "Infi" Wang sliced through the round of 16 taking down Tree by a 2-0 score, and needed one more win in order to be seated as one of the seven Chinese qualified players in the PGL. But lady luck did not smile on Infi this day.
Taking a loss by the hands of Fly100% by a 1-2 score, he was poised to play in the knockout stage, where his next opponent was the Night Elf suhO. Failing to haul through after a 1-0 lead, Infi's last chance was against Orc player and team mate Like. The Orc player proved too strong for Infi, who will sit out yet another PGL finals.
Aside from the international top stars Sky, Fly100%, suhO and Like, the three rookies rookies Hopestar, Wulin and Lyc managed to qualify.
