Following a series of critisisms, the future of Team SoloMid's Danish Counter-Strike divsion beyond their current contracts is in doubt.
With rumors, conjecture and predictions being a vital part of the competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene, the future of the Danish team has become a key topic in that regard. With about two more months left on their contracts, the communication between, as well as the treatment of, the team and their organisation has undergone harsh critism. Sinjin "Eonic" Thorpe, a player of TSM's Smite division recently started a reddit AMA, revealing a lack of care on the organisation side: "...they made the mistake of signing a team for a game they didn't want."
However, it is unverified whether the accusations made are applicable for their CS:GO roster as well.
Shortly after DreamHack Cluj-Napoca, then-team manager Frederik Byskov announced his departure from TSM. However, the players stepped in paying his salary to keep him as their team agent. Further more, Byskov had been publicly in exchange with TSM owner Andy "Reginald" Dinh regarding his departure. Dinh claimed that Byskov, admittedly being hired by the team instead of the organisation, had been scounting for new offers for his team while he was still being paid and the team still being contracted by TSM. Byskov has reacted on this matter as well.
Yesterday, Bystov openly admitted on twitter that he has been on the hunt for a new organisation as well as negociating with TSM.
