The World Cyber Games China wildcard tournament will kick of tomorrow with the matches from Group A.
Each group has a small single elimination tournament where the first named player plays the second player and the third versus the fourth. Both winners will meet each other in a final match to decide who comes out on top as first of the group and will advance to the knockout stage.
The amount of cash prizes is like we predicted a total of €900. Just like last year the winner takes €500, second place earns €300 and the third place will receive €100.
Winner of Group A versus the winner of Group B, the players who finishes first in Group C will play the winner of group D. Both winners of these matches will be granted a spot in the WCG Chinese national finals. The losers of these semi finals matches will play each other and the winner will take a spot for the finals as well.
All games will be played in a Best-of-3 format and the mappool is
Turtle Rock, Twisted Meadows, Echo Isles, Terenas Stand and Gnoll Wood.
Tomorrow the first set of games will be played with WE.Infi facing team mate WE.suhO and MyZone.Guangmo facing u.s.T_HopeStar. The matches will be boradcasted on NeoTV and will start at 19:00 BST.
