ESWC has released the list of invited participants for the upcoming ESWC Masters of Athens. Players themselves needed to send in their applications in order for the ESWC organiziong committee to pick out the 12 attendees.

Worth noting is that half of the starting field are Night Elves, and only one Undead player. Also enough to raise an eyebrow or two are the complete lack of Chinese players.

$15,000 dollars and an autoberth to the ESWC 2009 Grand Final is at stake. The tournament seeding will be announced on October 8 and the group compositions on October 10.
