Second of all: why not give yourself some easy presents in Overwatch before it's too late! A couple of promotions will end at the start of January and while that's still a week or two away, time flies when you are forced to spend time with friends and family.

Nexus Challenge

Remember the Nexus Challenge for Heroes of the Storm, which rewards Overwatch players with a pretty cool Genji skin? Well, if you haven't gotten in the required 15 games yet, then you have until January 4th to do so. Reward:

Winter Wonderland

The third seasonal event for Overwatch is currently live and as known these always contain new collectibles that are permanent when bought but only available for purchase during the seasonal event. Well, the Winter Wonderland will melt away on January 2nd. So if you want the Santa Torbjörn skin, or some of the Cheers poses then you will want to open as many lootboxes as possible until then, or purchase the items with the in-game currency. The event is expected to return next year, so don't get too mad when you miss some of your favorites.

Happy Holidays from Blizzard

Speaking of opening lootboxes, Blizzard has sent all Overwatch players their gratitude and best wishes, as well as five free lootboxes for every player that manages to open them before January 2nd. Because these lootboxes are Winter Wonderland boxes, and these boxes will disappear on January 2nd, be sure to log in before then, and check what's inside. It might even save you from buying specific items, or give you the gold required to get that costly, Legendary collectible.
