Fivestar announced his retirement in the WC3 Live Battle earlier today. But WICKED's manager mart1n denies that the player has such plans.
The Orc player had planned to retire after Afreeca WarCraft League, as his result was unsatisfying. Although after the fine season in WC3L he had with WICKED Esports, he played on. Now, as the WC3L season is over, FiveStar announces that he puts the mouse on the shelf.
Manager says he won't
While FiveStar seems clear on his retirement, we asked WICKED's manager mart1n whereas he said shortly that "he won't retire" and then "no comment".
Says he received an offer from MYM
In the same breath, FiveStar also said that he together with his team mate Soccer was offered to join MeetYourMakers, but denied due to the fine season in WICKED and salary issues. However, this is nothing MeetYourMakers manager Losemann wants to comment on.
- Sorry no comment, if they would be given a real chance joining MYM, we would never talk about it, says Losemann.
- Rumors are things, which we never give answers to, he adds.
FiveStar says that a possible comeback might be in stall, but not for a while at least.
This leaves WICKED, who has four matches yet to play in the NGL-ONE, with three players, not counting the inactive played Deadman. Whatever the future lies in hold of the Korean-based team, their impressive WC3L season can't be taken away from them.
