The other day KiWiKaKi was featured in a interview about his participation in Battle.net Season 4 Finals. Questions about his clans new Multiclan is also asked.
GotFrag.com is the authors of the interview with the Candian talent Jonathan 'KiWiKaKi' Garneau. What makes Jonathan more interesting nowadays is that he recently played the Battle.net Season 4 Finals, managed to win SK.Insomnia and on top of that his WC3L participating clan just joined a new multiclan.
Lost in the groupstage
Unfortunately he never managed to get passed the groupstage in the B.net Finals. With losing to the Korean stars ShowBu- and ReiGn there was not much hope left for the Canadian.
- 1 mistake cost me the game, the series, and the group, Jonathan told GotFrag, versus ReiGn in game 3, in the late game, I got a lumber mill and 2 kodo's that was totally useless. If I would have gotten bat instead I'm sure I would have won that game.
Here goes a snippet from the interview:
You lost to Showbu and ReiGn by 2-1 scores, what happened that let them both beat you?
Versus ShowBu game 1, I lost because I took a risk. When harassing him while he was creeping my Farseer was getting focused by footman and archmages. When I started to run my Farseer had like 30 HP left and one last archmage shot was aimed at him, I wasn't too sure if he would die or not so I took a chance. Game 3, he got Turtle Rock close position which is very hard to win against, and he countered my Wyvern strat well with a tower at his base and Gyros, so I can't use Wyvern to harass his peons.
Versus ReiGn, I played really bad in game 2, got my grunts and Farseer surrounded several times. Game 3 was kinda close and he played very well creep jacking me with Shade, etc. But what cost me the game was not getting bat at the proper time.
