KnOfF enters the European qualifier for BlizzCon 2008 tomorrow after a good start of the autumn season. With wins over xiaOt and Ghost in WC3L and Ciara and Bringer in Nations Cup, the Swedish Orc player looks to be in a shape that reminds us of his early time in Mousesports.

Fredrik "KnOfF" Knopf was the name on everyone's lips when he defeated Grubby at an inCup tournament in early 2007. Being picked up by Praetoriani the day after, KnOfF was the new Orc on the block. Not long after serving Praetoriani, KnOfF joined Mousesports and became one Europe's most discussed player. Some doubted his skill, some said he was the next Grubby. Known for playing a high amount of ladder matches, KnOfF was labeled a mass-gamer who only did good on the ladder while losing the official matches.

After stays in Praetoriani, Mousesports and World Elite Europe (JuSt), KnOfF then took a break from gaming, only to come back later in BioXar.Fortknox. There he remained for about five months until he rejoined his old team Praetoriani, now in the shape of PGS (today nGize).

Since three months back, KnOfF has been a regular player for the team, often pairing up together with LiiLD.C in the team games, and gets to play solo matches quite often too. In this season's WC3L, KnOfF has taken down both Ghost and xiaOt, but has also lost against Grubby.

KnOfF is in good shape, and is climbing the GosuGamers rankings list, currently placed 65th which ranks him the third best Swede, after SaSe and LiiLD.C. It seems like the Swedish Orc player has finally found his place in the WarCraft scene. Can he take another step forward and qualify for his first big individual international tournament? Tomorrow, his journey begins as he goes up against SaSe in the first round.
