After a Korean-dominated inCup Spring Season, the Season Finals were played last Sunday. AFter a long and tough fight, the World Elite player Check took it home. The surprise of the tournament was no doubt the talented young Russian Happy, ending second.

inCup is with no doubt the most prestigious and popular online tournament. Weekly 200€ cash prize tournaments open for everyone attracts over thousands of players, undisputedly the tournament to take part in on Sundays. After ten rounds, each winner of the weekly tour qualifies for the Season Finals, along with the six best ranked players during the season. This season, the winners of each week were Korean dominated, with only Grubby and Satiini coming from another nation. We get to see Lyn win three times, and Check two.

Unsurprisingly, Lyn got seeded first. The Finlander Satiini was ranked second, who "only" took home one inCup win, but was always in the top in nearly every inCup round. This tournament had it all, top notch Koreans, surprises - both negative and bad, and most of all a great set of games. The first round commenced, and it kind of went as expected. The battle of the Scandinavians - Creolophus against Satiini ended in a win for Finn, 2-0. We also saw the Polish player TeRRoR defeat Farseer which was a bit of a surprise. The Russian newly made mouz, Happy, took down SoJu, and then kept going all the way to the Grand Final. Defeating SaSe, Satiini and Check, he was ready for the Grand Final, where he was to face either Check who he previously defeated, or Lyn, the number one seeded player.

Check's little agenda in the Loser Bracket seemed to strengthen him, as he came back in the Grand Final after defeating Lyn in the Loser Bracket Final. The experienced Korean player, or the young and talented Russian? Who were to take home those 500 Euros that were at stake, plus having their nickname on basically every WarCraft 3 site, surely making a name for himself? In a three way best of three, Check from World Elite proved that elder is strongest and could be crowned the winner after 2-0 and 2-1.
