The former GSL champion has been acquired by the Korean branch of FXOpen e-Sports. It was made clear that his contract with LG-IM has not run out but the deal was still signed in agreement.

Ahn "Seed" Sahng Won, the man that helped LG-IM complete the feat of being the first team to win GSL titles with all three races, has been transferred to FXOpen e-Sports. He will be part of one of the strongest team league contenders with two GSTL titles and one semifinal finish in just one year, featuring well-established players such as Leenock, GuMiho and sC. Even though he's been stumbling since his masterpiece in the 2012 GSL Season 3, he is often referenced for his often awkward and unusual playstyle; something that helped him more than once in team league, and will play right into FXO's cards to regain power over GSTL once again.

Whether the decision by LG-IM to let him go was only made due to Seed's lack of recent success or out of financial necessity was not made clear, but with FXO being proficient at bringing up young players like Leenock and struggling players like sC, Seed might prove to be a valuable addition to FXO's roster, one that has a noted lack of consistent Protoss players.
