The new season of the WGTour Clan League will start in just a few days, and the teams for each division are announced, but one of the teams we do not see in any division this time is the American team Micro Media.



The reason for this, says Team Leader Artosis in the formal complaint thread at WGTour.com, is that they lost a lot of members a few weeks back and had to drop out of all the leagues because they had to few players. This was not the end though, because not to long ago they came back, with more power than ever and wanted back into the clan leagues.

Since they had been in the first division they asked the admins if they could be let back in in a higher division than the fourth one but got a blank no. This seems alright, but not too long ago the other top team Templars of Twilight got let back into the league too, in the third division. The reason for this is said to be that the third division had an open spot with a team resigning from the league.

Luckily for Media the second division had an opening as well, so they asked to get the open spot there but got rejected, again. According to WGTour they had made somewhat of an exception for the ToT team, and they would not make one for anyone else.

Artosis posts a log in the complaint, with a conversation with the head admin of the clan league where he asks if they can get a spot after the team CHILE who recently disbanded and where he gets a clear "No" as the answer, since WGTour does not let any teams into any other division than the fourth one, saying that ToT was an exception.

The admins answers to this are "ALL teams are to be treated the same way", which is not really what they said to Artosis before that. After a while and three different admins saying the same thing the spot in the second division was filled by the Mexican team Bring.IT, and the thread was closed.

Whether Micro Media will get the now open spot left behind from Bring.IT in the third division is yet unknown. Reading the administrator comments at WGTour, it seems as Media will have to sit out this season if they won't get and accept a spot in the fourth division.

*Another forum thread was made where Artosis is asking for a spot in the fourth division but is pointed to the back up registrations even after all the trouble they did not get a spot there either. cSF got moved up from the fourth division after Bring.IT and a team that signed up before the deadline, but was rejected at first, got the spot in the fourth division that Media wanted.
