GosuGamers StarCraft expert Hullah looks through the list of the iCCup Clan League participants, one by one. Who do you think will win the 1000 dollar prize sum?
9 MgZ - MicrogamerZ is a team with a great and long history. They did great in both BWCL Premier and FragBet league. They are also the team, which has suffered the most in the last few weeks. They lost their best players to xLo and their line-up is not as impressive as it used to be. I think that they will put up with this all, but they need time to build a new, very good line-up. For now, 9th or 10th, but who knows?
9 fAke - Another Russian based team. They play in wGTCL div1 and have played there for a few seasons now. Even though I think they are capable of winning 3-4 matches in ICCup ClanLeague, they probably won't do that good. They don't seem to be really active and they forfeited their last match in WGTCL. Either 9th or 10th.
7 aFz (IP) - I do not really know much about this team and I have heard more about their WC3 division, than SC:BW one. Their line-up consists mostly of Russian and Ukrainian players and they have done pretty good in WGTCL div1 so far. Although they haven't played in invite-only leagues like BWCL Premier or FragBet yet, I think that they will finish on the safe place in the middle. Either 7th or 8th.
7 DkH - DkH is a big unknown to me. They have a lot of good players, but on the other hand, they lost a few to xLo. They are not a kind of a team, which breaks-up when something goes wrong. They have been through a lot and their German-based line-up can do some upsets. My prediction is 7th or 8th place, but finishing 6th is possible as well.
6 Media - Media has always been a kind of a team, everybody should be afraid of. They took part in BWCL Premier League and finished 4th. As it can be seen on their WGT page, the team consists of only 8 players now. Will that be enough? My prediction is 6th place, but it can be lower as well.
5 iG - Infernal Gamers is always an unknown. They play in WGTCL div1 and their first two matches also show that they can both win against great teams, and lose against the ones considered a bit worse. They first lost 0-5 to DkH and next week they won 3-2 against LRM. They have a lot of good players, as well as a few gosu Koreans. It is hard to predict their role in the league, but judging by their line-up I would say 5th place. But is that really possible with such an inconsistency?
4 xLo - Team Excello SC:BW is the most active StarCraft team nowadays. They take part in a lot of leagues and they finished 2nd in BWCL Premier League. Their place in FragBet league was surely below Bartar's expectations and painful losses against ToT made him think about team's future. They have added a lot of players and they have the largest line-up in the whole community. Despite losing GohaN and Fabian to ToT, they still have around 30 players and can win every match. But will they? Imo 4th place.
2 LRM - Los Reyes del Mambo is always a strong opponent. They have a lot of good and active players, like e.g. Lamer, who has just won WCG Bulgaria and Qpad League Week 1. They will finish top4 in my opinion, but they can make it for the first place. For now, my prediction is either 2nd or 3rd place.
2 MYM - Although MYM SC:BW hasn't won any league yet, they are getting stronger and stronger. They finished second in FragBet league, losing 3-4 in the final against ToT and they are probably very keen on winning the whole league. They will finish either 2nd or 3rd.
1 ToT - This team does not really need an introduction. They have won all the important leagues lately, like BWCL Premier League and FragBet League. Despite some people saying that without Testie and Sen they are not as good as they used to be, they are surely a candidate for the win. With recent additions of GohaN and Fabian, and the match system 4x1v1 and 1x2v2 they will certainly be a tough opponent. Imo 1st place.
