After their recent success in the Coke Zero League, Complexity has acquired the roster of Challenger squad Skyline under the new title of Complexity Red.

The team of Skyline was formed after the dissolution of Velocity eSports following their 3-25 season in the Season 3 Summer LCS Split by jungler Andrew “Nk Inc” Erickson and support player Even “Evaniskus” Stevens (now using the tag “Support Daddy”). The pair hoped to return to the LCS as soon as possible and formed a squad they felt was capable of doing so with renowned assassin player Greyson “goldenglue” Glimer, carry Josh “Impactful” Mabrey and Challenger top-laner Jungroan “Jezie” Lin.

Skyline has been participating in the NA Coke Zero Series, dominating their matches in the Play-In stage and pulling off a 2-0 upset over heavy favorites Cloud 9 Tempest (formerly The Walking Zed). They face their stiffest challenge against the Chinese squad of LMQ this weekend.

Jason Lake, founder and CEO of Complexity had this to say of his new League of Legends team:

“We see great potential in the coL.Red squad and are excited to assit them in their quest to join the LCS ranks. With the assistance of our corporate partners we intend on making a strong push into the global LoL scene in 2014 and beyond”
