Russian Challenger team The RED has been acquired by a new sponsor, the Russian eSports powerhouse RoX.KIS.
The RED has been a major player on the Challenger scene for some time, taking first at both the LoL GameRu Christmas Tournament and the Plantronics RuLoL League as well as respectable results in the WePlay LoL Invitational, IEM Cologne and the 2013 World Cyber Games.
RoX is one of Russia’s largest multi-game eSports organizations with notable Starcraft II and Dota 2 division.
Of the change, mid-laner Anton “Fomko” Fomkin has this to say:
