Despite legal threats, Chinese player Super wants to leave his team, E.Home, for SKT1. On his blog, he talks about his time at E.Home and why he's leaving.
Super joined E.Home in 2005 in order to secure a place in the CEG. At the time, his contract specified that the team would provide food and shelter for its players, as well as a monthly salary and health care. According to Super, upon joining the team, he didn't receive any of this.
"We had to pay for water and power ourselves," writes Super. The team also didn't pay for his medicine, nor did he ever get any pay slips. When he was sent out to the PLU event in Shanghai, he was forced to pay the travel fees himself.
When he decided to join SKT T1 rather than remain with E.Home, the team threatened to sue him for breach of contract - his contract hadn't run out yet, requiring him to stay on for the duration. Super was even told not to think about going to Korea, and to expect a ban in China - which made him feel incredibly sad and disappointed about the Chinese E-sports team. After all, he feels, the team broke contract, first.
"I did my best to make the team famous and earn it money, but I'm going to end up being sued by the team. I must write this all down to show what I have experienced, and to let everyone know how badly I've been treated," finishes Super.
